Karla Krafts

This is where I log craft projects, ideas, products, materials and sources including links. I'll also document sources of inspiration. I love crafts, including knitting, quilting, scrapbooking, stained glass crafting and others. My specialties were knitted baby caps and glycerin soaps I call "Gemsoaps." Now, I'm into embroidery and beading.

Where did all the TV craft shows go?

I traded in my old TennaRoter and antenna for cable so I could get HGTV. I loved the craft shows, especially after I retired from teaching. When HGTV became "the real estate network," I added a digital box to my cable subscription so I could get DIY. Now the majority of craft shows has disappeared from DIY and I'm so disappointed. Anybody else feel that way?

I miss Simply Quilts BIG TIME. I know Alex Anderson has a website with Ricky Timms and they have shows online but I'm not willing to pay for it!
I like your blog - I'll be "stalking" it. :)
