Karla Krafts

This is where I log craft projects, ideas, products, materials and sources including links. I'll also document sources of inspiration. I love crafts, including knitting, quilting, scrapbooking, stained glass crafting and others. My specialties were knitted baby caps and glycerin soaps I call "Gemsoaps." Now, I'm into embroidery and beading.

What I learned about beading on velveteen

1. The beads sit on top of the nap, so there's lots of wiggle in the design.

2. You can't use tweezers to remove the waste canvas because it's too easy to pluck out the pile from the velveteen. It looks moth eaten.

I'll be salvaging these beads after I make this post.
