My current project

or at least the main one! I found this Winnie the Pooh crib quilt top at Hancock Fabrics on the 50% off table. It is stamped to look as if it is cross stitched in places, so right now that's what I'm doing...cross stitching the corners.

I finished my Bible cover!

I did the beadwork by hand, and there is a small
amount of silk ribbon embroidery. The straps and
bookmark are gold organza ribbon.
I think I might have gone too far with the bead embellishment. The fabric is beautiful enough to stand on its own, as you can see from the back.
I am pretty proud of it, however. I made the pattern myself using my AutoCad software.

Not as crazy about this one

I thought I would love this jacquard yarn with it's bright colors, but I see now why it's in Bernat's "Jr." collection instead of the one for babies. It's just too bright. I do enjoy the colors, though, and will save it for some future project.

Catching up

Well, it looks like the problem I had with my email hacker is no longer. I am feeling much stronger, finally, after my surgery. I have been working on many projects in my stitchery and knitting (especially for the grandbaby!) and hope to post photos, soon.
