Karla Krafts

This is where I log craft projects, ideas, products, materials and sources including links. I'll also document sources of inspiration. I love crafts, including knitting, quilting, scrapbooking, stained glass crafting and others. My specialties were knitted baby caps and glycerin soaps I call "Gemsoaps." Now, I'm into embroidery and beading.

Caps for Peter James

I know I knit at least 12 caps for PJ before he was born. Here he is later on the night he was born wearing the first cap I knit before I knew if he was going to be a boy or girl. That's his grandpa holding him.

Ohhhh...your grandson is just precious! 12 hats you say? I believe it. If I didn't have to actually make money to live, I would knit for relatives and friends all of the time. :)

It's a shame you can't make NoSo this year. Let me add this, though. For the first time ever, there's still space (no waiting list) for NoSo. You might get in touch with Rae, the organizer, if you and your friend are free this weekend.
