This is where I log craft projects, ideas, products, materials and sources including links. I'll also document sources of inspiration. I love crafts, including knitting, quilting, scrapbooking, stained glass crafting and others. My specialties were knitted baby caps and glycerin soaps I call "Gemsoaps." Now, I'm into embroidery and beading.

Camellia Time in Charlotte!

This beauty is blooming outside the house where I babysit. I wonder how these blossoms would look printed on fabric and embellished? Or maybe appliqued on a green blender background?

Yellow beads or French knots? Martha Stewart recently aired instructions on making a "burned silk flower." Hmmmmn? Coral silk? Gold or yellow Angelina film for the stamens?

It was a beautiful flower! Similar to the rose petals. I just saw this for the first time.
