Karla Krafts

This is where I log craft projects, ideas, products, materials and sources including links. I'll also document sources of inspiration. I love crafts, including knitting, quilting, scrapbooking, stained glass crafting and others. My specialties were knitted baby caps and glycerin soaps I call "Gemsoaps." Now, I'm into embroidery and beading.

A more pressing engagement

The Embroiderer's Guild of America has a chapter in Charlotte. They meet the fourth Wednesday in each month. That should've been tonight. I checked the time and location and considered going, but my daughter, Adrianne, called and said PJ wanted Nana. I feel a little ill at ease just showing up at a meeting where I know no one, anyway. I think I'll email the president and ask her for more information.

I wonder if a needlework group would go off at home in Wilkesboro. I've been thinking about that, too. I may post an inquiry on facebook and see what happens.
